God, Is That You?
|
|
|
|
This event is for women who long to hear God’s
voice and know Him intimately. If you ask Christ-followers
today, many will admit they struggle to recognize his voice.
Whether it’s uncertainty, lack of understanding, or hardened
hearts, the inability to hear God speak robs and hinders the
Christ-follower of intimacy with Him. God, Is That You? helps
women learn how God speaks to them.
Sessions include: Straight Talk from the Bible, If God
is Speaking, Why Can’t I Hear Him?, Seeking Intimacy not Just
Answers, and When God Gets Personal |

A Makeover Story
|
|
|
|
Today, you can get a makeover to change your body
and clothes, your house and yard, or even your spouse. Yet, this
fascination with a makeover is not a modern phenomenon. The
Bible is full of makeover stories including the Samaritan woman
in John 4. She was desperately in need of one, but it was not
until she met Jesus that she experienced true transformation. In
this retreat, you’ll laugh and your hearts will be inspired as
you learn makeover tips from the Woman at the Well.
Sessions include: Trading Spaces: Know Where You Live,
What Not to Wear: Know How to Dress, and Designed to Sell: Know
Who You Are |

Reflections of a Woman’s Heart
|
|
|
|
Have you ever made a choice in life and looked
back saying, “I can’t believe I did that!” Imagine how Eve must
have felt after she disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden.
Although she lived in a seemingly perfect environment, something
caused her to disobey God. In this retreat, we reflect upon
Eve’s heart considering how God-given desires worked against
her.
Sessions include: The Desires of a Woman’s Heart:
Discovering Your Deepest Desires, The Seduction of a Woman’s
Heart: How Satan Uses Desires to Seduce You, and The Fulfillment
of a Woman’s Heart: Learning to Believe that Christ is Enough |

Seasons of Change
|
|
|
|
A change of seasons means God is changing
something. Whatever season we find ourselves in, God has an
ordained purpose for it. The way we respond to Him during the
seasons impacts our relationship with God and others. In this
retreat, we will discover God’s purpose for three seasons, learn
how to embrace them as opportunities to know God more
intimately, and gain a better understanding of who we are in
Christ.
Sessions include: Encountering God on the Mountain,
Wandering with God through the Wilderness, and Finding God on
those Ordinary Days |

Can’t Get No Satisfaction
|
|
|
|
In our search for satisfaction, we often look to
people, places, and things. Not only do we find they come up
short, the nagging desire always returns. Satisfaction is not an
illusion or something to be experienced only in heaven. God
desires for us to experience it today. This three hour seminar
is for women who are looking for a satisfying life. It explores
why people, places, and things cannot take God’s place as the
satisfier of our souls. |

A Hurried and Hectic Life … Who Me?
|
|
|
|
Most Christ-followers are living above the speed
limit God set for our lives. Moments of peace and quiet have all
but disappeared from our day because of our never-stopping,
on-the-go, busy life. Even when we have the free time, we still
miss the moments that restore our souls. In this three-hour
seminar, we will look at the vital importance of slowing down
and bringing moments of "calm" into our lives. |

Christmas in the Heart (A Christmas Outreach Event)
|
|
|
|
The popular Christmas story, How the Grinch Stole
Christmas, comes to life as a biblical illustration based on
Ezekiel 36:26-28. Like the Grinch, every person is born with a
heart problem. We have hearts of stone until God gives us a
heart of flesh. As an outreach event, guests will learn about
God’s diagnosis and treatment for the problem while
Christ-followers will be encouraged to focus on the true meaning
of Christmas. |

As a ministry, we are asking you to develop a prayer team also.
This team should plan to meet several times prior to the

times or throughout the retreat. If you have a prayer list,
please forward one to Pamela Hall. The list can be emailed to
the Reflecting Grace Prayer Team.
